Total control from a tube
Korean cosmetics packaging manufacturer Yonwoo has just introduced the first dropper on the market that delivers a perfect dosage.
No matter how hard or soft the Dropper Tube is squeezed, it actuates the liquid formula contained within in 0.055ml drops, each and every one the same. The tube enables a single drop to be placed on the fingertip, allowing for precise application to a local area in a delicate gesture.
The one-drop-at-a-time system uses a suck-back system to ensure accurate drop size. Any liquid not completely squeezed gets automatically drawn back into the tube. Such precise control makes the tube perfect for oils and liquid serums for targeted skin care and hair care treatments.
The tube is easier to transport than conventional glass vials, it also offers better protection as it has an interior aluminium Luxefoil layer which acts as a barrier to light, gas and moisture. Available in two diameters - 19 mm for a volume of 5 to 20 ml and 22 mm for a volume of 10 to 35 ml - the tube comes with a plastic pipette made from a material whose name is quite a mouthful, acid-modified polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephtalate (PCTA) and a transparent polyethylene terephtalate glycol (PETG) screw cap which plugs the pipette's tip when closed.
Following its huge commercial success in its country of origin, the Dropper Tube is now available in Europe and Australasia, from Quadpack.
