Ray Hammond, author of The World In 2030, had concluded his study warning us that one of the main challenges the Earth would have to face would be the lack of drinking water. Starting in 2019 all new buildings constructed in the EU will have to produce on-site more renewable energy on-site than they consume. This is the result of a revision by the European Parliament of the directive dealing with buildings’ energy performance. Read more
